Voting time extended

The Election Commission said the polling time has been increased by 1 hour. It’ll be held from 7 am-6 pm, instead of 7 am-5 pm earlier. However, this will not be applicable to Left-wing affected areas. There are 7.79 crore voters in Bihar. It has 3.39 crore women voters. The last hour will be reserved for those with Covid-19 and who are quarantined.

Special preparations for Bihar elections

Online nominations can be filled due to Corona. They can also get a digital certificate of victory. There will be one thousand voters at one booth, the number of voters at the polling booth has been reduced. 6 lakh PPE kits, 46 lakh masks will be used.
