CTET 2018 Public Notice has been released on 29th May 2018. The Central Board of Secondary Education will be conducting the 11th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 16/09/2018 (Sunday). The test will be conducted in 92 cities all over the country. The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in w.e.f. 12/06/2018 (Tuesday).

CTET Eligibility Criteria

The following persons are eligible for appearing in the CTET.

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR
 
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year  Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
 
OR
 
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year  Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
 
OR
 
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
 
OR
 
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
 
OR
 
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

CTET 2018 Age Limit

Minimum- 18 Years

Maximum- No Limit

Application Fee

General / OBC For Paper- I or II: Rs 600/-

For Both Paper- I & II: Rs 1,000/-

ST/SC/PWD For Paper- I or II: Rs 300/-

For Both Paper- I & II: Rs 500/-

CTET 2018 Online Application

The online application process will start from 22/06/2018 (Friday) onwards. The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through CTET website www.ctet.nic.in. The last date for submitting online application is 19/07/2018 (Thursday) and fee can be paid upto 21-07-2018 (Saturday) before 3.30.p.m.

CTET Admit Card 2018

The Central Board of Secondary Education will be released the admit card before 7 days of examination. Admit card will be released via online mode. It means candidates will have to download Admit Card through official website. For downloading the admit card, applicants have to enter their password and registration number and password.

CTET Result 2018

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare result after 1 or 2 months of examination. The result of CTET 2018 notifies exam marks and status of qualifying the exam. CBSE declared result at www.ctet.nic.in. The Result can be checked online by entering login credentials such as the roll number issued by CBSE at the time of form fill up and admit card download.
