CTET December 2019: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the registration window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Candidates who wish to take the exam can fill the online application at the official website ctet.nic.in.

  • Date for Submission of Online Application: 19-08-2019 to 18-09-2019 30-09-2019
  • Last date for submission of online Application: 18-09-2019 30-09-2019
  • Last date for submission of fee: 23-09-2019 03-10-2019 (Before 15:30 Hrs.)
  • Date of Examination: 8th December 2019 (Sunday)
  • Admit Card Download Start Date: 20-11-2019

How to Apply?

  • Log on to CTET official website ctet.nic.in.
  • Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same
  • Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
  • Upload Scanned Images of latest Photograph and Signature
  • Pay Examination Fee by e-challan or debit/credit card and net banking
  • Print Confirmation page for record and future reference.

Paper I Paper-II
  • Child Development and Pedagogy (compulsory): 30 MCQs (30 Marks)
  • Language I (compulsory): 30 MCQs (30 Marks)
  • Language II (compulsory): 30 MCQs (30 Marks)
  • Mathematics: 30 MCQs (30 Marks)
  • Environmental Studies: 30 MCQs (30 Marks)

Total of 150 MCQs 150 Marks

  • Child Development and Pedagogy (compulsory): 30 MCQs (30 Marks)
  • Language I (compulsory): 30 MCQs (30 Marks)
  • Language II (compulsory): 30 MCQs (30 Marks)
  • Mathematics and Science (for Mathematics and Science teacher): 60 MCQs (60 Marks) or
  • Social Studies/Social Sciences (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher): 60 MCQs (60 Marks)

*For any other teacher – either (IV) or (V)

CTET Admit Card 2019

The Central Board of Secondary Education will be released the admit card before 7 days of examination. Admit card will be released via online mode. It means candidates will have to download the Admit Card through the official website. For downloading the admit card, applicants have to enter their password and registration number and password.

CTET Result 2019

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare result after 1 or 2 months of examination. The result of CTET 2019 notifies exam marks and the status of qualifying the exam. CBSE declared result at www.ctet.nic.in. The Result can be checked online by entering login credentials such as the roll number issued by CBSE at the time of form fill up and admit card download.


CTET 2018 Public Notice has been released on 29th May 2019. The Central Board of Secondary Education will be conducting the 11th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 16/09/2018 (Sunday). The test will be conducted in 92 cities all over the country. The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities, and important dates will be available on CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in w.e.f. 12/06/2018 (Tuesday).

CTET Eligibility Criteria

The following persons are eligible for appearing in the CTET.

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage

Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR

Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

OR

Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR
 
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year  Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
 
OR
 
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year  Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
 
OR
 
Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
 
OR
 
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
 
OR
 
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Minimum- 18 Years

General / OBC For Paper- I or II: Rs 600/-

For Both Paper- I & II: Rs 1,000/-

ST/SC/PWD For Paper- I or II: Rs 300/-

For Both Paper- I & II: Rs 500/-

CTET 2018 Online Application

The online application process will start from 22/06/2018 (Friday) onwards. The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through CTET website www.ctet.nic.in. The last date for submitting an online application is 19/07/2018 (Thursday) and the fee can be paid up to 21-07-2018 (Saturday) before 3.30.p.m.
